Visit the many wineries or fly fish in the Wairau River only a 5 minutes drive from the lodge. Visit Wairau Valley's Historic tavern, established in 1856, making it the oldest tavern still operating in Marlborough. For golf fans, Wairau Valley Golf Club has a top quality 9-hole course, which is as challenging and interesting as any self respecting golfer requires. The outlook and views from the course are guaranteed to settle the most frazzled nerves and are equal to the best in the country.
