We are situated in the heart of Taradale, just ten minutes from Napier, 15 minutes from Hastings and only minutes away from New Zealand's two oldest wineries, Church Road Winery and Mission Estate Winery. Ideally placed for all Hawke's Bay activities. Our premises include a fully self contained two bedroom cottage and two large bed and breakfast rooms in the "big house". We are situated on a quiet back section in half an acre of gardens. After a day's sightseeing you are welcome to take a dip in the pool or join us relaxing on the deck. There is also a guest lounge with tea and coffee making facilities and some light reading. Or, to completely unwind, you might like to book a massage (charged separately) with Fiona who is a trained massage therapist. Because the Hawke's Bay is one of the sunniest and warmest areas in New Zealand, it is a wonderful place to visit and holiday in - with fabulous world class vineyards through to stunning Art Deco architecture. PS. We also have a rehomed greyhound, Mu-mu. Mu-mu has free range of the back of the house but to her great disappointment she is not allowed in the guest areas of the house.

Mon Logis Boutique Accommodation (B&B)

Originally built as an English Terrace house in the 1860's, this colonial building was extended into a private hotel. Mon Logis is one of the buildings which survived the 1931 Hawke's Bay earthquake. In 1991 it became Mon Logis meaning "My Dwelling". Only a few minutes' walk to the city centre, this two storey colonial villa overlooking the Pacific ocean has a fascinating history as a private hotel since the early 1900's. Now lovingly renovated, Mon Logis will cater to a maximum of eight guests. Downstairs an informal guest lounge invites relaxation ,television viewing, a quiet time reading or perhaps a game of chess or Bridge. Guests can help themselves to coffee or tea and biscuits any time of the day.
