How the BOOK IN On-Line booking system works

Search for property availability by entering your requirements in the Online Booking area on the Home page. For more search criteria click Advanced Search or Availability & Booking on the menu.

Alternatively, you may click Property Listings on the menu to view all properties in a region. These are listed North to South and West to East. For availability and booking click the Availability button at the bottom of each listing.

Select the dates and rooms you wish to book by clicking in the corresponding squares, then click the Reserve button at the top or bottom of the page.

Step 1 - Enter the numbers of people for each room and click on the Next button.

Step 2 - Enter your details. Click on Next to continue.

Step 3 - Check that the booking information is correct and click the Complete Reservation button.

All reservations are subject to confirmation by the hosts (B&B Property owners). Within 24 hours you should be sent an email telling you whether your booking request has been accepted or declined.

On completion of your first booking you will be emailed with a login name and password which will provide you with access to a secure area of our web site, where you will be able to monitor the status of your bookings, make further bookings, and pay for your bookings.

For bookings commencing in less than 4 weeks, payment is due as soon as the booking is confirmed. For other bookings, payment is due no later than 4 weeks prior to commencement. Failure to pay by due date may result in cancellation without further notice.

Hosts and suppliers are paid automatically by BOOK IN - no vouchers are required.

You should telephone your hosts at least 24 hours prior to the stay to obtain directions and advise expected arrival times.

All cancellations should be notified to BOOK IN as soon as possible. For accommodation cancellations notified to BOOK IN more than 48 hours prior to commencement of the stay 90% of the tariff paid will be refunded. For cancellations notified less than 48 hours prior to commencement of the stay there will be no refunds. Special provisions may apply to some bookings.

Once a reservation has been confirmed all client initiated changes will be subject to an additional charge of $NZ25.00 per location.

NOTE: BOOK IN has a secure web site with off site data storage and regular backups.
